Caro, Vish, and Madhu met in the summer of 2022. While they were interested in the intersection between deep learning, computer vision, and data analytics, they all had a common objective: to create a tool aimed for wildlife conservation.
We started the project as a collaboration between alumni, researchers, and members of the BAIR Lab.

In her day job, she works at the International Council on Clean Transportation, where she helps shape the introduction of zero-emission vehicles. She earned a Master’s in Information and Data Science at UC Berkeley. In 2011, she completed a bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics.
Carolina worked as a consultant for LEED Certification, focusing on energy conservation. In 2013, she founded a solar panel company for residential and commercial power plants. She worked as a senior cooling engineer at Whirlpool's Center of Technology and Innovation. Carolina has collaborated on research projects and has a published paper and a patent.
During her spare time, she's an advocate for women in STEM. From 2019 to 2022, she was the Co-Manager Director at Girls in Tech San Francisco. Today, she's the leader of Bay Area Women in Machine Learning and Data Science.

Vishakh attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate in Chemical Engineering, graduating in 2019. For the last three years, he has been working as a Quality Engineer at Intel Corporation, where he utilizes statistics, experimentation, and data visualization techniques while building automated scripts to help with team efficiency and ergonomics.
Vish recently earned a Master's in Information and Data Science at UC Berkeley. He plans on utilizing this degree to break into the Climate Tech industry and make an impact as a Data Analyst or Scientist.
In his spare time, he likes to make music, learn jazz piano, and spend time with his friends and family.
